How do you Customize your Frappuccino® Blended Beverage?

Summer is finally heating up and many of you have already played around with all the different ways to customize your Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and discovered new favorites. But do you know about all the different ways you can customize your Frappuccino?! You can build your beverage completely from scratch or you can take an old favorite like Caramel Frappuccino® Blended Beverage or Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage and customize it with any of these options:

  • Choose Your Milk: Will it be nonfat, 2%, whole or soy?
  • Pick Your Coffee: Extra coffee? A shot of espresso. Decaf perhaps?
  • Lower Your Calories: Make it light or hold the whip?
  • Add the Fun Stuff: Drizzle? Chocolatey chips? Whipped cream?

    I absolutely love the Mocha Coconut Light Frappuccino Blended Beverage. For those on Weight Watchers Points Plus program, it is only 6 points. It has nonfat milk and no whipped *****, but it is heavenly. When I took my first sip, I made an audible "Umm!" I had one yesterday for the first time, and today I had another. I told my barrista that it still had the "Umm!" Please try it. You will not be disappointed.

    I pray everyday that Starbucks will bring back the old coffee lite mix. I haven't had a Frap in over a year and I miss them so much. Please, please, please - how hard would it be to bring back the old formula. Keep the new stuff if you want, but add the old formula.

    I tried a frappuccino with nonfat milk. It was ok, I didn't think it had that much coffee in it. It was my friend's drink. I usually get the fun stuff in my drinks, extra syrup, more coffee, whip, etc. I tried a frap with whole milk one time and thought it disgusting. Probably the old formula. I usually get 2% milk. I get nonfat milk when I get lattes. Favorite fraps so far? Mocha, mocha coconut, java chip, strawberries and *****, cafe vanilla, cinnamon dolce, all I can think of right now

    Always two things for sure: No whipped ***** and soy milk!!! I miss the Caffe Vanilla Frappuccinos where I'd ask for extra vanilla powder. Delish!!! :)

      What is classic syrup? If it's coffee then why don't you just order a coffee frap and then add what add ons you desire?

        No, it's actually the plain sweetener syrup used in the iced coffees and teas. It doesn't have a flavor, just plain sweetener. What is used in Creme fraps is called cream base. Coffe base is used in coffee fraps. I work there =]

    I tried to order more coconut flavour in my Mocha Coconut Light Frappuccino and all they did was put extra toatsed coconut on top.How can I order it to taste more coconut?

    Wow, someone needs to watch the gallery on I jumped over there to check out some of the combos people came up with and was a bit surprised to see a giant f-word scrawled across the title of one. Not good to find when I'm sitting with my nephew.

      I'm so sorry this happened. We do have filters on the language used, and monitoring of our Frappuccino creations as well, but we must not have caught this in time. There is also the ability to flag creations should you run across something offensive. Once again, sincere apologies for the offensive Frappuccino creation.

    The bestest frapuccino EVER is the Skinny Captain Crunch: Strawberries and Cream, nonfat milk, no whip, add Hazelnut syrup, and one scoop of protein to thicken it up nice. SO GOOD!

    While I love the tastiness of these drink (my favorites are coffe frapp light, green tea frapp), I have a very hard time making sure the drinks I ordered come sugar-free. I don't know the recipe, but everytime I stated "no syrup/sugar, replaced with Splenda", I almost always caught the barista pumping "light syrup" into the drink; then I would be told that that's their "light frapps" recipes since I ordered a "light frapp"...SB needs to educate bari

        No its not. A "light" Venti frapp has 38g of sugar, and its not from the milk, which only has 12 g per cup (at most there is a 1/2 c of milk in there). So thats 32 grams of sugar, which is from the "light" syrup. That is the equivalent of 8 teaspoons of sugar. Fact is there is no coffee in there, that's why they're called "blended beverage". They are selling us syrup. I have gained 6 lbs drinking Frapps, with "sugar-free" syrup (mocha, hazelnut, etc).

        During Frappy Hours last week I ordered the Javachip without the base. I also get fewer pumps of mocha. For me, it's less sugar and more coffee, coffee, coffee and the Javachip taste is definitely there. It also seems like the ice melts slower, but I don't mind. I've achieved the goal of less-to-limited sugar.

      The light syrup used is made with sugar and stevia,and it is needed to make the frappuccino have its consistancy. They can not replace that with splenda or the drink would not be made right and the texture would be all off. The matcha for the green tea has sugar in it as well. the tea leaves are groung with sugar so green tea lattes or frappuccinos could never be sugar free.

        Why can't they just blend coffee with ice and add milk (and syrup upon request)? I don't get that. I am literally "hooked" on these frapps that I thought were sugar free. And yes the texture WOULD be off, because you'd be drinking coffee instead of syrup!!! Even the "iced coffee" has syrup in it, but at least there's some coffee in there. WTF? I bet you 99% of people think that "frappucino" means frozen cappucino. Its not. Its just a milkshake.

        We have coffee in our fraps.. it's just a different roast called frap roast. we pump it into the cup. You can also ask for espresso instead of the frap roast if you don't like it. The syrup base is added to make it creamier.

      Absolutely true!!! Bartenders at Starbucks do not care about screwing us the customers by making us believe that we have got what we ordered. LIGHT is not necessarily Sugar free.
      Starbucks and the tenders shuld be more cautious on this issue, because some people CAN'T take sugar for medical reasons!!!!!

      That's unfortunate. What they should've told you is that no frappicino can be completely sugar free. You'd have to get just an iced beverage instead. The light syrup we put in is the frap BASE, and if you don't put it, the the texture is off and it's just not that good. It tastes icy instead of creamy. If you are that concerned about the sugar content, get an iced green tea latte with nonfat milk and a sugar free syrup instead of the classic syrup, or an iced skinny latter, something like that.

    Want a healthier frap or hot tea that will give you energy to go all day. Try the chai tea double pump latte or frap with matcha tea, nonfat with cinnamon on top. All the spices gets your body revved and in the winter super warms you up. Yes the syrups are high in sugar but all the spices are antioxidants and gives you a lot of energy. And the taste of the chai and matcha are an awakening to your tongue. Very tasty and yummy!!!!!

      Decaf doesn't mean there is NO caffeine so be careful when ordering if you cannot have ANY...Maybe this link will help. All decaf has traces of caffeine. Also, it's not a very safe process either...

        Do you mean that the light frappuccino base is made with a natural sweetner and not artificial sweetners? Is it a mixture of Stevia and sugar (because I see that the carb content implies that some sugar is used)? I have limited my light frappuccinos because I assumed they had artificial sweetners! Confirmation that they are all natural would ease my mind! :)

    I agree bring back the old blend for fraps. I learned how to make them at home that tastes ten times closer than the stuff that is used now. Check my gold card use last year from jan to april and after that until now. BIG difference.

    I always wanted to customized but I'm scared they'll charge me more than a regular frappucino because as a starbucks member (I'm a gold card member) you get free customizations right? They ring you up as the price on all the add-ons but is it actually the correct price when they deduct it from your card?

    Maybe I'll try a Grande Caramel Brulee soy chocolate chip whip frappucino. If they don't have the available syrups or ingredients for the summer then I'll just do a mocha.

    Im on the hcg diet but can have all the coffee I want! But I need milk and sometimes I like a little flavor...non fat milk I can have 1 tablespoon a day..stevia is the only sweetener I can use...what do your sugar free syrups use? ?? Splenda??

    I would like to know if someone can figure out the point value for a vente carmel frapp with 2 % whole milk with whip and extra carmel or known as drizzle. I have a hard time figuring it out. I would greatly appreciate it. I love my Starbucks that I go too. The employee's there are great and make me feel welcome and feels like I am part of a family.

    I've just tried a Frapp today. Is it the Frapp base that contributes the bulk
    of the sugar? I looked at the nutritional info and was surprised how much
    sugar there was as I thought a Frapp was just coffee, ice, a little milk and flavor.
    But after reading here and doing a little research it looks like there is another
    ingredient - Frappacino Base and that it contributes the bulk of the sugar.
    Can someone confirm?
