Thank You Starbucks!!!
I drew this on the back of the Starbucks VIA coupon while sitting in my truck. I really like the VIA bold coffee. I just drank one while I colored this illustration. Thanks!

Starbucks Via @ North Dome
On October 2nd 2009, two brave photography (and coffee)addicts set out to hike to North Dome in Yosemite for a sunset/moonlit view of the Half Dome. On our way we stopped at Starbucks in Oakdale, CA for some bean juice and was challenged in a taste test between Pike's Place and the VIA (what?). We won and left with a few packets of Starbucks Via in our pockets.
This is what happened next...

Where did you take your VIA?
While we didn't actually drink it in free-fall, we loved the new Ready Brew in between jumps!

VIA is Far Out Cowboy Coffee
Starbuck’s wanted to hear about the far out places that folks are taking VIA, their new instant coffee. This Wyoming Caffeine-Addicted-Cowboy keeps VIA Italian Roast in his holster at all times…because you never know when you’re gonna need a cup of courage, and you can’t always count on a Starbuck’s in the middle of nowhere. Starbuck’s VIA is proof that Cowboy Coffee doesn’t have to taste like “cowboy coffee”!

How about testing out your product on our U.S. soldiers on the front lines in Afghanistan? I've been told that one of the things they miss most is a good cup of coffee. I am a volunteer for an organization called "Support Our Soldiers" (S.O.S.). We are currently preparing to send 200+ boxes of gifts to some of our troops in Afghanistan for Christmas (this will be our 3rd year for this project)! If you would send us a nice supply, we'll be sure to ship them off in late November, along with lots of other food, snack, clothing and toiletry items. Once they return to the U.S.A., they'll be anxious to have more! Thanks for your consideration.

Via to the rescue in the emergency room!
My mother was involved in a car accident trying to avoid a mattress on the freeway. (She's going to be okay, thankfully!)
After 6 chilly hours laying flat in the ER, when she was allowed to have something to eat or drink, I remembered I had Starbucks Via in my purse. We asked for hot water (easy), made her a cup, and you could just see the "comfort" on her face! She'll be in the hospital for awhile (broken back, small fractures in her neck, surgery tomorrow) so I picked up a 12 pack for her. I will take a photo today of mom enjoying her Via!

STARBUCKS ON MY DESK
VIA is awesome!
As I titled, I feel like that a Starbucks is on my desk.
Now, bad weather won't bother me any more!
Video is basically made of paper work and finished with useful graphic tools.

Starbucks Via for the Troops
My son in law is in Afghanistan on his third tour. The first thing he does when he gets back from Afghanistan, is finds himself a Starbucks and has one of his drinks.
Via had just come out when he left and I sent him with a couple boxes and some of the free samples. Well I cannot keep him stocked up with Via. I am sending him packages every couple weeks with another couple packages of Via, plus I must admit that I have been overwhelmed with some of the stores that I frequent as a regular. The baristas have been very generous in giving me free samples to send to the boys overseas.
Thank you again Starbucks for the free samples and if you ever want to send some Via overseas, send it to my son in law, he would be so happy!

Jungle Morning Coffee
We are missionaries in the jungles of Peru. Here we are enjoying Starbucks VIA one morning in a Shipibo Indian Village schoolhouse just off the Ucayali River. Our body guards and interpreters need to stay alert and thanks to Starbucks VIA, we had a great start to our day!
