5th of July Cleanup

5th of July cleanup draws over 1,000 volunteers.

Our sincere thanks to the many volunteers who took part in Starbucks third annual 5th of July Lake Union Cleanup.

Thank you, Seattle!

Our sincere thanks to the 1,000+ volunteers who joined us at the third annual 5th of July Lake Union Cleanup! Even after a late night of fireworks, your commitment to community shone bright (as did the sun!). Together, we collected 7 tons of combined trash, recycling and compost and left the lake and surrounding neighborhoods better than we found them.

We want to share our appreciation with everyone who participated and made such a difference. It's people like you who make our hometown, and the world, a better place to live.

If you’re interested in more local volunteering opportunities, please visit our Community Service website to find other local community service projects.

And we’ll see you at the 4th annual cleanup in 2013!
