Nutritional information on our website and in our Nutrition by the Cup brochure is now based
on what customers are actually served. Previously, nutritional information,
including calories, was derived by adding up the documented totals of different
ingredients, a process that did not take into account the variations that can
occur due to the handcrafted nature of our beverages. The revised information is
the result of a rigorous process of making beverages and testing what goes into
the cup. Testing beverages made to our
in-store guidelines allows us to better account for variation and provide
customers with the nutritional information for what is in the cup.
Most of our markets are serviced by local bakeries to assure the freshest product. Entering your zip code enables us to provide the most accurate information for food offerings at your local Starbucks.
No, although most of our beverage components are certified Kosher. Since we cannot prepare Kosher beverages in our stores, we have not made a concerted effort to have all of our beverages ingredients certified.
Compared to our original base, Frappuccino® Light blended beverage has a lower sugar, fat and calorie content. While this option is lower in sugar, it is not a sugar-free beverage.
Request your beverage be made with 2% or nonfat milk; ask the barista to hold the whipped cream.
Opt for one of our sugar-free syrups: vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon dolce or other sugar substitutes such as Splenda®. You can also ask for less syrup in your beverage if you opt for a standard syrup.
