Research and Development
We’re a team of 200+ that is responsible for the science behind our great products. There are two main components in this group — Research & Development and Global Quality & Regulatory.
We develop new food (like our lunch items), delicious beverages, and innovative brewing equipment. We drive the innovation behind new product ideas (like the Verismo™ System), conduct the research and testing of the products (often sharing these new products first with our partners here at the Support Center), and make adjustments until the product is ready to take to market.
We also play a key role in shaping the future growth of Starbucks as we continue to expand into new outlets and countries. As a member of our team, you will make an impact by ensuring our customers (globally) have a world-class experience with our products.
