The Swirls of Summer
Summer’s back, and so is raspberry swirl pound cake. In my excitement for this delicious seasonal treat I went looking for other swirly summer favorites. Here’s what I found:
1) Sweet summer skirts. With the sun coming out, it’s time to embrace my summer wardrobe and what’s more summery than a colorful skirt that swirls when you twirl.
2) My notebook. My notes are covered with doodles – swirl after swirl as I daydream about summer vacations, grilling on the barbeque and enjoying a drink on my patio while lounging in the sun.
3) Iced Starbucks Coffee with Milk. You know that moment when you pour milk into freshly brewed iced coffee? I love watching the coffee and milk dance together to create swirls of refreshing deliciousness in my cup.
4) A glass of wine. When the sun begins to go down after a long day, there’s nothing better than swirling a glass a wine while enjoying the summer sunset and great conversation.

The swirl of the ocean water that has been touched by our boat propeller: sometimes lazily, gently twirling behind us, like the wind around my sun hat; often churning and bubbling like too-quickly-poured espresso as we race to stay ahead of the water skier we are pulling behind. I love the swirls of summer!
Swirling is yummy! I enjoy swirling a really good piece of chocolate around in my mouth while enjoying a delicious Starbucks Coffee ! I admit it I do enjoy the caffeine treats~ :-) thanks!!
Debbie downer here. Just gotta say la Boulange chocolate croissants which i've consumed in san francisco don't compare with whoever makes them for Sacramento stores. The best ever!
