For One Amazing Night, Jazz Trumps Homework

The students themselves are what make this event so special. Last year the audience was even privy to a tender moment on stage when one of the musicians asked a fellow bandmate to be his date for the prom. And she said yes! (Unlike the 30-year-old chaperone from Starbucks who graciously turned down the same proposition from another strapping young musician.)

On stage, the students are poised musicians. Offstage, they are typical hungry teenagers. Collectively, they consumed more than 60 large pizzas in the green room before last year’s show. That’s half a pizza per kid!

Tickets are $20 (plus applicable fees) and can be purchased through the Seattle Theatre Group. 100% of the ticket price face value (minus administration fees) goes home with participating schools. Last year’s sold-out show provided over $40,000 to our local music programs. Join us in the celebration of this extraordinary hometown talent!
