Hey! Mobile payment through the Starbucks app is now accepted in our drive-thrus! You told us that you wanted this super fast way to pay in our drive-thrus as well as inside the store, and we’re excited to deliver.
Have you noticed a difference in the look and feel of Starbucks.com when you pull up the site on your cell phone?
Over the past year we’ve noticed a big change in the way you’re getting to Starbucks.com – more and more often, you’re visiting us on your mobile and tablet devices instead of your laptops or desktops. Great news, but the trouble was, the experience on our website wasn’t ideal for these devices – until now.
Good news! Our mobile payment program is now available to our friends in the UK through the official iPhone application from Starbucks!
This new functionality is a great addition to all the other services already available on the Starbucks for iPhone app in the United Kingdom. The app can also be used to manage your Starbucks Card account, reload your card, transfer balances between cards, find nearby stores and explore Starbucks products and offers.
We’re honored to learn that Starbucks for iPhone App was named one of this year’s best apps in the App Store Rewind 2011! Allow us to pass along a huge thank you to all of our friends for the endless inspiration you’ve provided. We’re committed to transforming your experience in the digital space and thankful for all of the ideas you share with us daily.
Please continue to share your thoughts with the Starbucks mobile team at www.MyStarbucksIdea.com. We look forward to bringing more mobile innovations to life!
We’ve had a busy few months and lots of mobile news to share. We recently released an application for Android phones and expanded mobile payment to Safeway locations. Well, that’s not all we’ve had up our sleeves.
We’ve been carefully reviewing your requests for new features for our iPhone applications. Now we’re pleased to introduce an update to the myStarbucks application that includes a couple of your top requests.
The updated app combines the features of both the old myStarbucks and Starbucks Card Mobile apps, but we didn’t stop there. The newly renamed Starbucks app (that’s right, we’re just calling it “Starbucks”) also introduces eGifting. That allows you to send virtual Starbucks Cards on the go to your friends through email or Facebook!
If you’d like to try the combined app, download Starbucks and sign in with your Starbucks.com username and password.
You've asked and we've listened – the official Starbucks for Android app is finally here! Starbucks mobile apps are the fastest way to pay, so join the mobile payment revolution now with your Android phone.
