Important information Whether you are a new shareholder or have been with us since our initial public offering in 1992, we are committed to providing useful information and access to our executive leadership to our valued shareholders.

On Wednesday, March 19, 2008, Starbucks will convene its Annual Meeting of Shareholders at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center and the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.
Ticketing information Please note the Starbucks Annual Meeting of Shareholders is a ticketed event. Shareholders of record as of January 11, 2008 will receive two admission tickets enclosed within the Proxy Statement mailed on or about February 4, 2008. (Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.)

Shareholders who receive their Proxy Statement electronically may present a current brokerage or BNY Mellon Shareowner Services statement documenting ownership of Starbucks stock as of the record date to gain admission to the meeting.

Each attendee must present either an admission ticket enclosed within the Proxy Statement, a brokerage statement or BNY Mellon Shareowner Services statement. In addition please be prepared to display a government issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or state-issued identification. Prudent security measures will be undertaken for the safety of all attendees. Compliance with posted signage is required.

As always, we anticipate a large number of attendees at our Annual Meeting of Shareholders. We have taken several steps to accommodate as many people as possible, including providing additional seating in the main hall and overflow seating in the Exhibition Hall next door to view a live video feed.

While we will make every effort to accommodate all attendees, we cannot guarantee seating availability.

The Agenda Starbucks Corporation's Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on March 19, 2008, at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center, on Mercer Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues. Doors will open at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

Due to the popularity of the event, all attendees are encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the meeting. The meeting will include:

A review of the company's recent performance, and unveiling of the company's five transformational initiatives for 2008 and beyond.
Voting on proposals described in the Proxy Statement, which can be viewed along with Starbucks Fiscal Year 2007 Annual Report on the Investor Relations homepage of our website.
Q & A Session

Bag check No large bags, knapsacks, backpacks or similar items will be allowed in the auditorium. Cameras and recorders are prohibited in the venue.
