CoopeTarrazú is a large cooperative of mostly small-scale family farms. Carmen and I have owned our farm since 1963 and we see our beans growing better every day because of how much we care for our land.
With help from Starbucks Farmer Support Center, we have incorporated sustainable practices on our land, and our children will be able to farm here into the future. Without the support of Starbucks sustainability programs, it would be difficult to maintain the practice of coffee farming, support my family or protect our environment.
